2014 – NowVoalte / Hillrom / Baxter International
- Launched a new product to production for a mobile and web-based application utilizing serverless technologies in the Azure cloud. Responsible for all architecture and design decisions. Provided technical leadership for an engineering team of 15-20 developers and testers. Using Docker, NodeJS, React, PostgreSQL, Redis, GitHub Actions, and a multitude of Azure services.
- Leading multiple efforts to develop a middleware layer for a diverse set of products acquired through M&A to share functionality and create a uniform mechanism for interoperation. Responsible for guiding teams on the new communication standard based on protocols such as HTTP, AMQP, SIP, and WebSockets. Supporting services written for NodeJS and .NET platforms using GraphQL and Apollo Federation as an application protocol.

- Led the technical aspects of development for the company's customer portal, StrikeTracker, using AngularJS, NodeJS, PHP, and MySQL as well as Java and Flex in earlier revisions.
- Led the technical aspects of product development for the company's RESTful web service API using Java and PHP.
- Administered a MySQL database used to store hundreds of millions of records of time-series network usage samples and various aggregations supporting customer portal analytics and billing. Developed strategies for data retention, data partitioning, and indexing.
- Designed, created, and maintained multiple DevOps processes including automated builds and deployments via continuous integration and delivery pipelines using Grunt, Phing, Maven, Fabric, Make, Vagrant, Puppet, and Jenkins for applications written in Java, Ruby, and C++.
